Accessibility at North Leeds Food and Drink Festival
The North Leeds Food and Drink Festival team are committed to making the festivals accessible to all
Frequently Asked Questions:
Is the site accessible to wheelchairs and Mobility Assistance Vehicles?
The festival takes place at Roundhay Park, Leeds. The main entrance and event space is on one level and reasonably flat. However, the festival is on a grassy field and can be uneven in places.
Are Assistance Dogs allowed on site?
All of our events are Dog Friendly; we just ask that dogs are kept on leads at all times and consideration is given to their welfare if the day is a particularly hot day.
Do carers get a free ticket to attend the festival?
Carers get free access to the festival whilst accompanying the person/people they provide care for. Make the staff at the main entrance aware that you require a carers ticket. Please bring some form of ID as you may be asked for this.
Is there Accessible Parking?
Yes. This is close to the main entrance. Make the traffic stewards aware that this is where you prefer to park and they will point you in the right direction for accessible parking.
Are there Accessible Toilets on site?
Yes. These are situated at the main toilet block.
Do you have Sensory Calm Spaces?
We aim for the site to be a safe, happy and enjoyable space for all. However, the different smells, sounds, tastes and experiences can be overwhelming and over stimulating for some. The site has plenty of calmer/quieter spaces for people to take time out and relax.
Stewards and Support
We have a team of stewards who are there to assist you at any time when you are on site. We also have a fantastic First Aid team who are based close to the main entrance.
